Tudor George has been designing costumes for television since 1972 starting at the BBC in Wales then Birmingham and London. Productions included - Play for Today, 30 Minute Theatre, Second City First's,
The Brothers, Gangsters, Don't Forget to Write, Who Pays the Ferryman, Z Cars etc. Leaving the BBC in 1979
for a freelance career in film and television.
His first feature film was that now iconic British Gangster movie "The Long Good Friday" directed by John McKenzie and soon to be followed by another Mckenzie film "A Sense of Freedom" the story of Glasweigan hard man Jimmy Boyle.
Other Cult movies soon followed "Shadey" directed by Phillip Saville with a Great British cast headed by Anthony Sher,
"The American Way" ( aka "Riders of the Storm" Australia/USA ) directed by Maurice Phillips and starring Dennis Hopper,
"Billy the Kid and the Green Baize Vampire" directed by Alan Clarke with Phill Daniels and Alun Armstrong in the leading parts. "Resurrected" Paul Greengrass's first feature film starring David Thewlis
